1/2-1/15: Emergency Medical Technician (Farmville)

This course will prepare students to sit for the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) exam.
This is a hybrid course.
This means that the majority of the course will require in-person attendance in a classroom setting.
There will be assignments that must be completed online outside of classroom hours at your own pace.
Students should plan to have internet access and a laptop throughout the course.
Some of the online applications do not work well on a cell phone or tablet.
Students will participate in lecture, skills labs, clinicals and be assigned time on an ambulance, in the emergency department, and various other allied health environments as available.
Students who successfully complete the course will be prepared to enter the field as an entry level EMS provider.
