Boss TE-2 Tera Echo Pedal - $115

Like many others, I initially thought this pedal was a “one trick pony,” only being able to do the cosmic-sounding laser type effect.
How wrong I was! This pedal has lived in my home recording studio since I bought it brand new back in 2017 and has been used on countless tracks, sometimes as a layering pad-like sound or to boost a lead.
Some of my favorite ways to use this pedal are to either set the “s-time” to the fastest setting, which creates a super unique slap-verb delay type sound, or to hold the pedal down and utilize the “freeze” function (which can be done when the pedal is in the off or on status- both have a different character!) This one is a tough one to sell for me because of how much I love it, but I recently got my hands on a DD-500 which has a Tera Echo setting.
