ISO large breed puppy

ISO large breed I'm looking for a larger working class breed of puppy with intelligent and protective traits.
Would prefer male under 6 months but am willing to work with a puppy up to 1 year in age.
Trying not to spend more than 100 in fees since I'll already have hundreds in vet fees to get them checked out, UTD, registered, and neutered.
I have an extremely active lifestyle and am very consistent with training and socializing.
Hiking once a week, 2-3 doggy playdates per week and at least 4 miles walked a day.
You really couldn't ask for a better home.
I already have a 10yr old hound that is my world and perfectly socialized and trained.
She's just not very alert when walking at night and we've been followed and accosted multiple times already.
That why I'm being so specific with my search.

Would prefer mixed breeds.
Not interested in bloodline papers or breeding so please keep that in mind, don't try to convince me that a higher price tag makes a good dog or that a higher "fee" ensures a good home.
I've seen so many purebreds up for rehoming bc ppl "just don't have time" but want to make 100s of dollars to "ensure a good home".
THEY were supposed to be the good home.
