Job Description Overview The Space Management and Planning Analyst is responsible for management and support of the space management and planning application(s) including communication between other applications and communication from project team members, contractors, and engineers/architects for all Centra Healthcare Strategic and Repair Replacement Capital and Operational Projects.
Works closely with Director of Real Estate to maximize space utilization, document and maintain space plans and SF information across the Centra organization.
Works closely with Design & Construction Project Managers and Sr.
Interior Designer to assist in space planning and project documents management.
Is responsible for Real Estate/Facilities document management for projects and record management across all Centra facilities.
This position is responsible for establishing processes and procedures and selecting and implementing a technology platform(s) that supports space management, space planning, and document management.
This role is responsible for building a document management system and implementing it for all Centra facilities.
Supports managers and team members by being the go-to expert to assist with daily processing, troubleshooting, and updating the application(s).
Leads system upgrade efforts by studying and communicating benefits and features of application upgrades and then coordinating participation and testing efforts.
Interacts with software owners for updates and support.
Provides application training as requested.
Manages all administrative functions of the application(s).

Supports the team through consistent attendance within Centra’s 3% guideline.

Other Functions Develop technical document management strategies and partner with Centra Real Estate, Facilities Management & Design & Construction to launch any necessary projects and for record documentation.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the document management & space planning application(s).
Support real estate and project management/design team with space planning and to maximize space utilization across the Centra organization.
Establish processes and procedures and selecting and implementing a technology platform(s) that supports project management, design, and real estate in document management and space planning.
Builds and distributes documents and drawings as necessary.
Support and collaborate with team members across Centra facilities and departments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required Education: An associate degree in architecture, engineering, design, CAD/BIM management or related discipline from an accredited college or university; and, five years’ experience in the construction/design/engineering field including two years’ experience in design/space planning and document management of health care facilities; or, a satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Education: A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, design, CAD/BIM/Project management from an accredited college or university or a license as a Professional Engineer or registration as an Architect; or at least 10 years of related experience in design and/or construction management with experience in healthcare preferred and/or a combination of the following, sufficient to equal a total of ten years of education and experience.
Required Experience: Experience using CAD/BIM Software, document management software.
Preferred Experience: Excellent technical, conceptual, and planning skills.
Ability to motivate team efforts to accomplish goals.
Thorough knowledge of the design principles, practices, and methodology in healthcare.
Experience using CAD/BIM Software, document management software and PM Software.
Preferred Certifications and Licensures: Certification / License Specialization in CAD/BIM, document management and/or PM software.
