*SUMMARY*
The position of human resources manager consists of planning, directing, and coordination human resource management activities for RSG Landscaping, LLC.
to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruiting, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance.

) · Provide for impartial treatment to all employees through proper practices and employment policies throughout the company.
Ensure all polices are applied fairly and consistently to all employees.
· Ensure compliance with all government regulations Federal and state – unemployment, FMLA, ADA, ACA, health, and dental insurance · Provide training, advice, and guidance to management staff on employee relations issues.
· Oversee appraisal process for improving morale and productivity.
Improve employee communications and performance by proper use of formal counseling and progressive disciplinary procedures.
· Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity, and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes · Analyze and modify compensation and benefits polices to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
· Recruit for open positions and perform recruiting activities including sourcing and screening applicants, maintaining recruiting systems, drafting offer letters, providing follow-through with candidates, support managers with hiring · Support the performance review process; provide employees and managers with information about the process, policies, job duties, and process for promotion.
· Responsible for administration of employee 401-k program · Draft and update job descriptions; assist in classifying positions and/or reclassifying positions as needed.
· Plan, organize, direct, control or coordinate the personnel, training, or labor relations activities of the organization · Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and helping resolve work-related problems.
· Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management · Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements · Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs · Maintain employee personnel records · Responsible for company ACA reporting · Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verification · Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues · Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff · Attends and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations · Work along with Safety Compliance Director to ensure company compliance is being met · Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Primary contact with mobile device provider (Verizon & US Cellular) o Responsible for setting and repair of devices o Fix iCREWtek issues o Setup Verizon MDM on devices · Primary contact with IT provider o Make sure employee tickets are responded to in a timely fashion o Receive quotes on new upgrades, equipment, and responsible for the purchase of needed equipment o Assist provider with any questions they may have · Primary contact with office phone provider · Handle ASSET updates, backups, and issues with Include response · Handling the ordering of employee and branch apparel from providers · Manage H2B filings & processes & assist with issues as needed · Handle the random drug screening pool (updating employees) · Assist when needed with Ordering supplies for managers (Amazon) · Resolve issues non-HR related with managers (phones, iPad, computer, software, etc.
) · Manage Vehicle Tracking System (MiFleet) o Setup new users, track company vehicles/equipment as requested · Virginia DMV monitoring o Add new employees to monitoring list o Pull MVR reports for new and current employees as requested o Monitor for any employee MVR issues · Manage Human Resources software platform (currently UKG) · Performs all other duties as assigned *EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE* o Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required o At least one year of human resources management preferred o SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus *QUALIFICATIONS* (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
