Automotive Controller

*Automotive Controller * Full Time – We are looking for an experienced Automotive Controller for our growing company.
The Ideal candidate will be professional, detail orientated, hardworking and highly motivated with 3+ years experience as an automotive controller.
Primary Responsibilities include: * Lead the accounting team in all required dealership functions * Responsible for daily banking and report production * Oversee all compliance including Red Flags, 8300 Cash Reporting, Customer Information Security * Train and Mentor staff as necessary * Support Dealer and executives with special projects as necessary Additional responsibilities include * Preparation and Review of monthly dealership financial statement on a timely basis * Prepare other reports for management as needed * Prepare sales tax returns * Schedule Maintenance * Daily cash and floorplan * Prepare year end reports for accountants Required: 3+ years of experience as an automotive controller DealerTrack experience preferred (CDK and Reynolds & Reynolds experience considered) Microsoft Excel The candidate should be comfortable training and managing other members of the accounting team Must be able to meet deadlines and produce accurate end of month reports Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn Strong technical skills in accounting Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both written and oral What we Offer: Competitive pay and benefits including paid time off, medial insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, IRA.
