Your Responsibility
You will play an integral role in the accounting month-end closing process.
You will prepare reconciliations, post journal entries, perform inventory analysis, and generate a variety of financial reports.
You will maintain fixed asset records, assist in preparation of capital expenditure requests and justifications.
You will perform job cost analysis to ensure actual costs and projections are accurate, forecasting the expected outcome of projects in the portfolio.
You will assist in the development of forecasts and budgets and perform other tasks inside the accounting function.
You will generate various scheduled and special reports and participate in special projects relating to the activities of the accounting department.
You will correspond with customers by phone/email to investigate reasons for delinquency/non-payment.
You will collaborate with other departments/personnel within the company to ensure proper resolution of customer account problems.
What are we looking for?
A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting coupled with over 2 years of professional experience, preferably within a manufacturing or operations setting.
Exceptional grasp of financial principles, including a solid understanding of GAAP.
Robust analytical abilities, proficiency in MS Excel, and familiarity with fully integrated ERP systems.
Effective communication and organizational skills, with a capacity to adjust to evolving objectives and priorities.
Keen attention to detail, alongside flexibility in adapting to shifting objectives and priorities.
