Job description
Orano USA is seeking a Financial Analyst (Financial Analyst II-III) for our office in Lynchburg, VA.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for:
General Ledger Support:
General Ledger: month-end/ year-end closing process, centralized JE postings to Costpoint, Benefits Rate Estimates and Actual Postings, related account reconciliations.
Fixed Asset: Capital Project creation/ monitoring, setup of final depreciable fixed assets, asset transfers, disposals, master data changes, monthly depreciation, settlements, depreciation forecasting, property tax accruals, reconciliations, policy updates, reporting for audits, tax, management, etc.
Tax Support:
Property Tax (real estate & personal) – review and verify the tax payments to localities.
Sales & Use Tax - registration and regular tax filings according to the local authority’s requirements
Assist with data gather for income tax packages.
Additional responsibilities will include the following:
Corporate Reporting: Consolidated reporting and analysis of regional performance key indicators, budgeting and forecasting of corporate support functions, Magnitude reporting, corporate support cost allocations
Customer service and problem solving for Orano units.

Ideal qualifications
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity.
Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher-level position.
Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Business, plus a minimum of 2-5 years of financial analysis experience.
Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of accounting and finance.
Able to create and generate reports.
Proficient in Excel and familiar with advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
The following are preferred and may differentiate those who apply:
Able to lead process improvements.
Innovative and flexible.
Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word and Power Point.
Knowledge of SAP/ CostPoint financial system.
Financial Consolidation, Reporting and Analysis experience.
CPA designation.
