As a Senior Associate, you will directly supervise and help develop In Charge Associates and Associates.
Senior Associates also manage multiple engagements, demonstrate excellent communication skills and advanced technical skills.
Senior Associates identify opportunities for business development while maintaining strong client relationships.
Your training will focus on specific technical areas and specializations.
Partners, Directors, and Managers provide direction, training, and professional guidance as you grow your career with us.
What Your Day Looks Like:
Direct engagements including timeline, budget, schedule, and Associates.
Provide overall leadership, supervision, training, and performance feedback to In-Charge Associates and Associates.
Responsible for several jobs at one time.
Review and prepare workpapers.
Develop business by expanding existing relationships with clients, maintaining personal networks, and participating in civic, business, and professional organizations.
Participate in proposal development and other practice development/marketing activities.
Assure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Assist with research and planning according to the current laws and/or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
What You Need for This Role:
BA or BS in Accounting or related field required, Masters Degree preferred
4+ years of professional level accounting experience required
CPA designation strongly preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, research, and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Firm technology and software applications (knowledge of ProSystems, XCM, and Engagement are a plus).
Thorough knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, SSARS, and financial statement preparation and disclosures.
