The Rockbridge Area Health Center (RAHC) seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to provide administrative support and assistance to the Finance team by performing general accounting activities.
This position requires strong attention to detail with an emphasis on complex general ledger coding, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Your day will consist of processing and recording accounts payable transactions for multiple departments, including invoices, credit card transactions, recurring payments, and other automated clearing house payments in an accurate and timely manner.
You will also assist with reconciliation, data entry, and file management.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or an associate in arts degree (AA) preferred.
Experience with bookkeeping and accrual accounting procedures required, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit environment.
Competency in Microsoft Office, databases, and accounting software preferred, preferably in Blackbaud Financial Edge.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
