The Licensed/License Eligible Outpatient Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.
) is responsible for direct clinical and therapeutic services, to children who struggle with emotional regulation, communication skills, social skills, and neurocognitive challenges.
The scope of services include assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic intervention (individual/family), psychoeducation, collaboration with clinical specialist, and collaboration with community resources.
All therapeutic services are provided in the home and the community.
*Responsibilities and Duties:*
* Prepare written initial biopsychosocial assessment using various assessment instruments to formulate treatment plan and provide diagnosis.
* Provide on-going evaluation and assessment to determine appropriateness of treatment course and adjust diagnosis, treatment approach, and goals as needed.
* Responsible for oversight, preparation and maintenance of all case documentation as required by agency, Medicaid, and Insurance provider standards including daily therapy notes/summaries, treatment plan documentation, and quarterly reports.
* Engage in weekly supervision to process case and provide clinical insight towards the completion of quarterly reports and service authorization requests.
* Resource identification and assistance, identification and development of natural supports, advocacy, service monitoring, and follow-up, and collaboration with natural supports and other service providers.
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Master’s Degree in a Counseling Related field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university).
* Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare in the state of Virginia; Licenses include LCSW, LPC, LMFT and/or Licensed Eligible (potential for free supervision for Supervisee in Social Work).
* Experience working with children and adolescents with mental illness and/or neurocognitive disorders.
* Knowledgeable and proficient in personal computer operations skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Flexible schedule but willingness to work some evenings/weekends a must.
* Valid driver's license and a car.
