Title: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Location: Lynchburg, Virginia
Status: Full-Time (Part-time options available)
Setting: :Hybrid, a combination of on-site and remote work
Clinic Hours:: 8:30am - 5pm, Mon - Fri
Schedule Options: :5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts, 2 days on-site, 2-3 days remote
Salary Range: $285,000 - $325,000
Case Load: :8-10 patients per day

Join a leading mental health provider offering Outpatient services in the City of Lynchburg and the surrounding counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell.
As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you'll play a pivotal role in providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children with mental health needs.
Collaborating seamlessly with a dedicated RN, you'll ensure exceptional patient care and positive outcomes.
Enjoy a flexible schedule with 2 days in the office and 2-3 days remote.
Additionally, each provider receives one hour of dedicated administrative time daily to ensure seamless workflow and effective patient care management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Board Certified in General Psychiatry
- Clear and Active Medical License in the state of Virginia (or willing to obtain)
- MD or DO degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Valid US Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board Certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Related Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Understanding of community and public health to support individuals in accessing community resources
- Ability to provide personalized services, assess needs, and ensure quality standards are met
- Knowledge of mental health, intellectual disabilities, substance abuse, and relevant treatments
- Familiarity with psychiatric medications and treatments
- Proficiency in database systems and software for documentation
- Use database systems and software to efficiently and effectively meet documentation needs
- Analyze situations accurately and develop appropriate responses or techniques
- Effective communication within interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop reports, create presentations, and communicate findings to both internal and external audiences
- Ability to identify and measure outcomes
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships and adapt to changes professionally
- May be called upon to travel to any facility worksite, transport clients, and provide services to clients at other locations.
- Regular attendance at trainings and company meetings may require travel to a variety of sites
- Participation in behavioral intervention training, including de-escalation technique
