Primitive Splint Oak Gathering Basket - $275 (Rt. 29 South of the Lynchburg Airport)

Offering this sweet Primitive Oak splint buttocks egg or gathering basket.
It's large buttocks size measures about 17 1/2" across and 16" across in the other direction.
It's about 15" tall at the handle.
This basket is a very well made antique basket probably very early 1900's.
It is in excellent condition and has a great patina.
Constructed with early nails and displays the great patina with little surface wear.
Appears to be oak wood.
This is an extraordinary basket with unusual large size and condition and can be seen about 7 miles south of the Lynchburg, Va.

29s.
