In Home Child Caregiver

```Duties:``` - Provide childcare and supervision to a special needs minor in a safe and nurturing environment - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs - Ensure the well-being and physical safety of said child at all times - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Assist with homework as assigned - Assist with personal ADL's including bathing, toileting, grooming - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities ```Qualifications:``` - Previous experience in childcare, special needs child setting or related field is preferred - Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities - First Aid and CPR certification is required - Ability to administer medication as needed - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for maintaining confidentiality of children's information - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with child and parents Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
