Our work environment includes: * Growth opportunities Responsibilities: - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs - Assist with homework and provide tutoring in subjects such as math and physical education - Ensure the well-being and welfare of each child, including monitoring their health and safety - Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress - Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development - Follow all daycare policies and procedures, including maintaining cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility Requirements: - Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred - Knowledge of child development principles and practices - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) - High school diploma or equivalent education Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
