Part Time Child Care Worker

We here at *_Kinetix Health Club Lynchburg_* are in need of another friendly, caring, and professional staff member within our\* _KIDNETIX_\* Childcare Department.
At Kinetix offer all members a complimentary childcare service so parents can workout knowing their child is being cared for right around the corner! With that we have many children who use this service and we are in need of growing our team.
*The duties and responsibilities of a child care staff includes but is not limited to the following:* · Observes and supervises children during shift · Ensures that the children are playing within a safe environment at all times · Actively engages with children during shift through means of games, toys, crafts etc.
· Communicates with parents and children appropriately and in a professional manner · Ensures that the child care environment is clean and sanitary by conducting routine cleaning · Assists Assistant Director and Director as needed with childcare items · Assists with cleaning of gym facility during low hours and with General Manager tasks and projects *Required Experience/Certifications:* All staff members are *REQUIRED* to have a valid CPR & First Aid certification(child/adult) *Preferred Qualities & Experience:* We are looking for reliable and dependable applicants who have the flexibility and availability to work all shifts.
Morning, Evenings and Weekends as well as sub in when needed.
We also are looking for applicants who have experience and ENJOY working with child or youth.
*Benefits:* All staff members will receive a free gym membership upon completion of their probationary period.
*Hours of Operation:* We offer childcare Monday - Friday's during the morning and evenings as well as Saturday morning.
We are looking for applicants who can work during these times of operation.
\*\**MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS IF CALLED IN* *_Monday-Friday: 9:00am-12:00pm_* *_Monday-Friday: 4:00pm-7:30pm_* *_Saturday- 8:30am-12:00pm_* If an applicant proves to be an ideal team player, more shifts may become available.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $12.
