Position Job Description
Title: Prep Cook
Reports To: Kitchen Manager
Primary Responsibilities: Completes all assigned prep list items in the time allotted on prep sheet.
Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Secondary Responsibilities: Completes side duties including, but not limited to bussing tables, cleaning back of the house areas, washing dishes, unpacking food, supply deliveries, organizing stockroom and cooler shelves.
Adheres to Company food and shelf life.
Specific Functions and Duties:
1.
Completes all assigned prep work, measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
Prepares prep items according to ECW+G recipes and specifications.
2.
works with team members to ensure food preparation activities are executed in a timely fashion.
3.
Sets up workstation, cleans, stocks, and re-stocks workstations.
4.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
5.
Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
Qualification Standards:
1.
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
2.
Previous prep cook experience preferred.
3.
Ability to accurately read, interpret, and prepare all food recipes within ECW+G guidelines.
4.
Reading, writing, and verbal skills required.
5.
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, salamanders, and make up station, dish machines.
6.
Strong drive and energy.
Physical Standards:
1.
Must be able to stand and exert well paced mobility for periods of scheduled shift.
Must be able to move up and down stairs.
Must be able to Lift pots and pans, trays, bus pans, cases of beer, boxes, materials weighing 40 pounds or more.
Must be able to taste all of our food to ensure quality.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.
00 - $14.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
