*General Description: *This position is responsible for troubleshooting, modifying, and developing current software that operates a variety of inventory systems for our customer base.
As a Computer Systems Programmer, you will be responsible for the design and support implementation of customer inventory control as well as the following:
*Essential Functions:*
* Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
* Implement performance and quality modules
* Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
* Coordinate needs, such as interfaces, with other vendors
* Provides telephone support for field installation and troubleshooting
* Handles customer service problems as required.
* Provide on & off-site customer support & training
* Work overtime as required
* Travel approximately 20-30% of the time
* Help maintain documentation for software and systems
