As a Robotics Engineering Intern in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the NDE Technologies Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit.
Your work will include development of software for existing robotics platforms used to perform visual inspections of steam generators.
The work may involve development of hardware drivers, localization capabilities, trajectory planning, automated machine vision, and/or human-machine interfaces related to the robotics platforms used at Framatome.
You will be a part of a small team, and will regularly interact with other developers at Framatome, and with internal end-users of the products you will be working on.
Through experience gained at Framatome, you will be able to understand the role that software plays in large engineering organizations, have an opportunity to introduce new robotics technologies, and have a real impact on Framatome's technology stack and robotics capabilities.
