POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Athletic Director and/or Principal, the coach must plan and implement a high quality athletic program that stresses fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship while maintaining high safety standards for all athletes.
The coach must also be committed to high academic standards for all athletes by monitoring the academic performance of team members.
The coach must travel with the team.

Responsible for recruiting, teaching, and coaching student athletes in the sport of tennis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
Past play experience in tennis.
Preference given to those with coaching experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Skill instruction, practice/match plan development of tennis.
Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
None
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Minimal travel may be required to and/or from sporting events within neighboring localities.
