JOB DUTIES INCLUDE
Adhere to all DMAS and DBHDS regulations for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services
Work with adults in Dominion Club and in the community, defining the goals in the least restrictive environment to foster personal growth.
Develop relationships with clients, become invested in clients' future and become an advocate for the client
Work with the client's community service providers, lawyers, probation officers, PCPs, psychiatrists, etc
Plan, prepare, and facilitate group and individual activities for program in the PSR center and community
Track all individualized service plans and paperwork
Manage paperwork and meeting deadlines
Attend staff meetings and communicating with supervisors
Discuss updates, progress and concerns with supervisors on a monthly/weekly basis
QUALIFICATIONS
A QPPMH must meet one of the following:
registered with the United States Psychiatric Association (USPRA) as an Associate Psychiatric Rehabilitation Provider (APRP); OR
(ii) has an associate degree in a related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling) and at least one year of experience providing direct services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness; OR
(iii) has a minimum of 90 hours classroom training and 12 weeks of experience under the direct personal supervision of a QMHP-Adult providing services to individuals with mental illness and at least one year of experience (including the 12 weeks of supervised experience).
Minimum 1 year experience providing therapeutic interventions to adults with mental health diagnosis
