DEFUNCT MONITOR (Lynchburg 24503)

Viewsonic VA902b VGA LCD monitor wants repair for backlight not coming on when it's cold.
I repaired it for this once before, and I got several years' use out of it.
It started stinking up the office, so I think it's an electrolytic capacitor blown its seal.
Are you handy enough to fix it? I replaced it with a larger monitor.
