The Research Assistant will assist the Dean or a Faculty member of the Law School with various projects by utilizing library and internet resources to research topics and then summarize the findings.
This position involves in-depth legal research and writing projects assigned by the Dean or a Faculty member.
The Research Assistant for Academic Support plays an integral role in assisting the Director of Academic Support with various tasks related to ensuring law school students are acquiring the skills necessary to be successful at both law school and taking the bar exam.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct one-on-one student meetings to assist with study schedule, outlines, and assignments Assist with preparation and conducting weekly workshops for students Assist with writing labs Maintain student records Maintain academic support space QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of law school Administrative experience Excellent organizational skills Excellent writing skills
