TheAssistant Director of Admission will support the VES Advancement Office’s ability to achieve annual revenue targets as set by the Board of Trustees and the Leadership Team by working in collaboration with the Admission Team to attract and enroll mission-appropriate students and develop strategies for the recruitment of student-athletes and artists to support individual programs.
*Reporting to the Director of Admission, this individual will successfully:* · Assist the Director of Admission in developing a plan to recruit mission-appropriate students for all programs on campus while helping to ensure the school’s commitment to becoming a more diverse and inclusive community · Target, initiate contact with, and maintain a portfolio of prospective students and families while guiding them through the admission process · Serve as a liaison for internal program leaders and guide the collaboration process to help promote the school to prospective students and families and drive enrollment goals · Oversee the Alpha Order student leadership group · Attend regional events, school fairs, conferences, and visit feeder schools in key markets · Assist with scheduling and coordinating individual campus visits for prospective students and their families · Assist with the organization and execution of on-campus events including Open Houses and Bishop to Be weekend · Interview and assess prospective students and families · Read applicant files and provide evaluations for candidates · Serve as a member of the Admission Committee in making enrollment decisions · Help to secure the prompt return of enrollment contracts and deposits from families *Job Type* · 12-month, full-time, exempt · Evening and weekend hours are required · Travel is required *Required Qualifications and Skills* · Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills; deliver an excellent customer service experience in all internal and external interactions · Excellent organizational skills with the ability to anticipate project needs, operate efficiently, prioritize work, be flexible and adapt quickly, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision * Apply problem-solving and critical thinking to address issues and find the best solution for VES and our constituents * Collaborate effectively and efficiently across people, teams and at all levels within the organization * Demonstrate sound judgment and integrity, while working with sensitive, confidential information * Communicate clearly orally and in writing * Initiate expenditures following proper purchase and expense procedures per the Advancement Team’s policy · Maintain appropriate boundaries with students and other constituents at all times *Required Experience* * Bachelor’s Degree * Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a student-facing or customer service role with a demonstrated record of success * High level of proficiency with database management platforms, plus Microsoft Excel and Word and/or Google Sheets/Docs.
*Preferred Education / Experience* * Knowledge of online Blackbaud platforms Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $40,000.
00 - $55,000.
