TheAssistant Director of Admission will support the VES Advancement Office’s ability to achieve annual revenue targets as set by the Board of Trustees and the Leadership Team by working in collaboration with the Admission Team to attract and enroll mission-appropriate students and develop strategies for the recruitment of student-athletes and artists to support individual programs.
*Reporting to the Director of Admission, this individual will successfully:*
· Assist the Director of Admission in developing a plan to recruit mission-appropriate students for all programs on campus while helping to ensure the school’s commitment to becoming a more diverse and inclusive community
· Target, initiate contact with, and maintain a portfolio of prospective students and families while guiding them through the admission process
· Serve as a liaison for internal program leaders and guide the collaboration process to help promote the school to prospective students and families and drive enrollment goals
· Oversee the Alpha Order student leadership group
· Attend regional events, school fairs, conferences, and visit feeder schools in key markets
· Assist with scheduling and coordinating individual campus visits for prospective students and their families
· Assist with the organization and execution of on-campus events including Open Houses and Bishop to Be weekend
· Interview and assess prospective students and families
· Read applicant files and provide evaluations for candidates
· Serve as a member of the Admission Committee in making enrollment decisions
· Help to secure the prompt return of enrollment contracts and deposits from families

*Required Experience*
* Bachelor’s Degree
* Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a student-facing or customer service role with a demonstrated record of success
* High level of proficiency with database management platforms, plus Microsoft Excel and Word and/or Google Sheets/Docs.
*Preferred Education / Experience*
* Knowledge of online Blackbaud platforms
