Job Description
Overview
This position is accountable to perform all duties associated with replenishing supplies to OSDC to service Healthcare system.
Duties include placing and expediting purchase orders, maintaining a computerized inventory system, maintaining various associated data bases, entering receipts, verifying data, generating requisitions for stock replenishment, executing various audits, processing internal returns and analyses associated with inventory control, monitoring the processes through the Lawson system, providing appropriate customer service functions, and serving as a central information point for OSDC inventory and ordering processes.
Print all reports associated for month end and insures distribution to proper internal departments.
Responsibilities
Maintains inventory accuracy and integrity to include researching cycle count discrepancies and following up with supervisor.
Responsible for generating and confirming daily storeroom orders.
Follows up on back-orders and open pos, expedites products, and makes necessary adjustments to re-order points to meet customer needs.
Demonstrates workflow flexibility by handling multifunctional assignments such as communicating with Strategic Sourcing, AP regarding invoice resolution, mailroom, picking/paring/delivery.
Maintains Inventory Item File Management and coordinates physical inventory preparations.
May perform other duties as assigned or requested and job specification can be modified or updated at any time.
Qualifications
Required Education: High School Diploma / GED
