Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crew Leader to join our team.
As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a crew in performing various landscape maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
Duties:
- Lead and supervise a crew of landscapers in performing landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding
- Oversee tree care activities including pruning, planting, and removal
- Ensure proper irrigation of lawns and landscapes
- Coordinate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service
- Train new crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor crew performance to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to schedules
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Knowledge of lawn care and landscaping techniques
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
