SAP Quality Management Consultant (C)

Main Sail has an immediate opening for an SAP QM Consultant to support the BWXT Nuclear Operations Group Lynchburg (NOGL) Quality Control (QC) system conversion from an IBM mainframe to SAP.
Main Sail is a Veteran-owned small business with 20+ years of experience supporting Defense and Energy systems and missions.
BWXT NOGL provides safe and effective nuclear solutions for national security, clean energy, environmental remediation, nuclear medicine and space exploration.
Responsibilities: Provide SAP QM expertise for migrating the NOGL QC system from current IBM mainframe COBOL and IDMS data environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze the existing QC system requirements and workflows.
Support planning and execution of data migration from the IBM mainframe to the SAP environment.
Configure and test SAP QM modules to satisfy NOGL business processes and requirements.
Qualifications: 4+ years relevant SAP QM experience.
Prior mainframe conversions a plus but not essential.
Availability to travel weekly to Lynchburg VA (if not residing local).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
Location: Lynchburg VA.
4-day work week, flexible, but NO REMOTE work.
Period of Performance: Approximate start 11/15/2023 with 1+ year anticipated project duration.
