*Job Title: *MOA II*-*Referrals
*Reports To: *MOA Lead
*Job Summary: *The vital member of the Community Access Networks (CAN) healthcare team provides support to the MOA Lead by providing administrative support to the Referrals Department.
The MOA II position will assist the practice in providing the highest quality patient care consistent with Community Access Networks vision of improving health through clinical excellence and compassion.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
1.
Provides high level administrative support to the medical office by delegating incoming faxes tot he appropriate areas (Prior Auths, Referral Consult Notes, Hospital Admission and discharge Records, Refills Requests, Medical Record Requests, etc.
).
Navigates Incomplete Forms between provides and outside offices.
2.
Assist patient with all aspects of the referral/DI process, to ensure 100% patient satisfaction.
3.
Provides peer training for new referral department staff members.
4.
Assists with high volume or past due areas when needed.
5.
Maintains "Diagnostic Imaging/Voucher Spreadsheet"
6.
Maintains "Pregnancy Tracking Spreadsheet.
" Reports information to Lead MOA and COO monthly.
7.
Assist MOA Lead with Mammovan coordination.
8.
As an MOA Lead with referral auditing.
9.
Other duties as assigned and this job description may change at anytime.

Minimum Qualifications:
1.
High school diploma or equivalent
2.
Warm, outgoing personality, with the ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds
3.
Ability to work well under pressure.
4.
Ability to multi-task and to prioritize work.
5.
Must have computer knowledge in the use of electronic health records (or databases).
Preferred Qualifications:
1.
At least 3 years’ experience in medical information management
2.
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

This is a full-time nonexempt position.
Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required.
Compensation based on experience.
