About the role: This position supports the Senior Manager of Accounting.
Job duties will include a mix of technical accounting, general ledger accounting, and financial analysis.
This position will facilitate effective communication with functional departments and will collaborate with staff at all levels across various functions.
This is a leadership role responsible for managing, coaching, and developing others.
Qualifications Requirements:
a.
Education: Accredited bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
b.
Experience Level: Certified Public Accountant with 4+ years of professional experience with at least 3 years in the audit practice.
Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is strongly preferred.
c.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and recent internal control guidance
d.
Previous supervisory experience required with strong coaching and development skills.
e.
Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
f.
Good oral and written communication skills required.
g.
Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
h.
Ability to work in multiple software platforms to synthesize and analyze relevant data.
Examples include: general ledger software, report writers, database queries, and advanced Excel formulas (lookups, power pivots) when working with large files.
i.
Experience with Oracle and Tableau is a plus.
