Australian Shepard (Altavista)

I have a neutered 5 year old pure Australian shepherd I am reluctantly looking to rehome .
We do not have the land he needs to be happy, we rescued him from a neglect situation and as much as we love him he’s just not happy living in a trailer.
He needs room to roam and a home to protect.
He is good with his family, he likes to snuggle at night in bed, he loves kids and in general is a great dog.
However he’s very protective of his home and that doesn’t work when I have a ton of neighbors.
He’s crafty and waits to get out and then will run all day, he sits in the yard and “guards” his home.
He is great with other dogs, cats and most indoor animals he’s met.
His leash manners are rusty, he’s got anxiety so it’s tough walking him on our busy rd.
I’m not looking to place in in a hurry and I will be very particular about who takes him.
