Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team.
As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective residents with finding and leasing their ideal apartment homes.
Your exceptional sales skills and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our company.
Duties:
- Greet and engage with prospective residents, providing excellent customer service throughout the leasing process
- Conduct property tours, highlighting the features and amenities of available units
- Assist prospective residents with completing rental applications and necessary paperwork
- Perform background checks and verify income to determine eligibility for tenancy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leasing activities
- Conduct inspections
- Assist with digital advertising, market research, and social media presence
- Collaborate with property management team to ensure occupancy goals are met
Skills:
- Strong administrative skills, including file management and data entry
- Sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Proficiency in property management software such as Rent Manager
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to Fair Housing
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle disputes effectively
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in leasing or customer service role is desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
