Hi All! I'm currently looking for a M or F roommate, preferably in their late 20s or early 30s.
My current roommate/buddy is moving in with his GF and I'm looking to find someone who can renew for a full year.
I've had great roommate experiences in the past and I'm hoping to continue that trend.
Location: Bucktown (4 min walk to Western Blue Line)
Rent: $1,100
Apt: 3 bed 1 bath (will not be renting out the third bedroom)
Move in date: 3/15-4/30 (pretty flexible here)
The Apt: 2nd floor of a walk-up.
I find parking ~95% of the time, right in front of the apt.
Central air, laundry in basement, massive deck.
The third bedroom in this apartment will be used as a shared music room/storage space, so there are two bedrooms to choose from (it's currently split 1,150/1,150 because I walk my roommates perfect dog occasionally).
Utilities (Gas, Electric, Internet) come out to ~$100ea and the LL pays for water.
The LL has a $50 Admin Fee (background check), $350 Move-in Fee, no security deposit.
About me: I'm 31 and I work as a utility-scale renewable developer in the loop (hybrid work schedule).
I've lived in Chicago for a total of 5 years (Noble Square, Wicker Park), grew up 20 min north of Chicago, went to undergrad at SIUC, and grad school at UIUC.
I'm tidy, friendly, and enjoy making music, going to concerts, watching soccer, going to the gym, cooking, and trying new restaurants/bars.
