Assist Director(s) and Executive Director with the daily operation of the Office of Spiritual Development (OSD), as it relates to various projects and initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage the daily operations of LU Serve Partnership administration, coordinators, and student workers.
Ensure a high-level of development and performance for best practices and customer engagement.
Develop and implement technical training for coordinators and student workers of partnerships.
Assist the Director to appropriately vet and process key partnerships for student engagement opportunities; locally, domestically, and internationally.
Procure, manage, and utilize essential software platforms to administrate LU Serve programs and projects.
Manage and utilize essential software platforms to administrate LU Serve and LU Send organization approvals and agreements.
Manage, procure, and develop student-group service-learning and spiritual development opportunities, for all LU Send and Serve Now group travel experiences and create effective measures to evaluate effectiveness.
Work with the other associate directors of Special Projects, Experiential Education, and Student Development to maintain existing and establish new faculty, staff, and student group relationships to procure new student engagement opportunities.
Work with the associate directors of Special Projects, Experiential Education, and Student Development to ensure collaboration for (1) the mutual support of all LU Serve programs and events, (2) the ongoing functioning and growth of LU Serve programs and events, and (3) the establishment of new initiatives that further the mission of LU Serve.
Manage and facilitate the vetted database of approved organizations to create proper accessibility for LU Serve.
Facilitate administrative support for any on-campus engagement requests with non-vetted organizations for student-engagement.
Lead essential administrative support for the vetting, approvals, and processing of MK Organizations.
Assist the Director to oversee the facilitation of the OSD Travel Scholarship Program within LU Serve.
Remain abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services, and leading industry benchmarks.
Assist in the planning, coordinating, and execution of all LU Serve opportunities as directed.
Work effectively as a team member of LU Serve; embracing and fostering the mission and events of OSD and Liberty University.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for two staff and up to two student workers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience:
Four-year college degree or the equivalent.
2-3 years+ experience in professional training
Preferred Experience:
Master’s degree
3 years+ experience in a business or non-profit organization
Information Technology experience
