Automated Industrial Technologies, a leading provider of innovative automation solutions, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Application Sales Engineer to join our growing team.
We specialize in delivering cutting-edge automation technologies across many industries with a concentration in the woodworking and lumber industries.
We empower our clients to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance through excellent machines and solutions.
*Position Overview:*
As an Application Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing technical expertise for both our custom automation division, our wood products automation division and our outside distributors.
You will work closely with clients, understanding their unique project requirements, collaborating with our engineering departments to developing solutions, determine the cost benefit for the customer, and presenting the customer with solutions that align with their business objectives and budget.

* *Client Engagement:*
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
* Conduct on-site visits to understand client operations, challenges, opportunities, and project needs.
* *Solution Design:*
* Collaborate with our engineering team to design customized automation solutions that address specific client needs.
* Present technical proposals and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our automation technologies and lumber processing products.
* *Sales Strategy:*
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
* Identify new business opportunities and nurture leads through the sales cycle.
* *Market Analysis:*
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
* Provide feedback to the product development team to ensure our solutions remain competitive and cutting-edge.
* *Training and Support:*
* Provide training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of our automation systems.
* Offer ongoing technical support to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* Proven experience in application sales, preferably in the automation or manufacturing sector.
* Strong understanding of woodworking and lumber industry processes and challenges.
* Technical acumen with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Willingness to travel for client meetings and on-site visits.
* Excellent Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
* Strong team player.
