POSITION SUMMARY:
The Strategic Account Manager (EAST)– will identify and develop national accounts in the data center / mission critical / renewables / emerging markets in support of PLR local branches.
We serve these markets by providing turnkey logistics, transportation, secured storage, and engineered crane & rigging services focused on our partners’ mission-critical gear.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Align with PLR’s sales process.
Develop effective strategies for target accounts across focus markets through independent effort and in cooperation with branch and corporate resources.
Drive growth through direct sales activity, branch sales assistance, and creative marketing.
Develop an understanding of target account structure and organization with a focus on identifying and building relationships with key personnel within the Decision-Making Unit.
Create and organize target accounts and their contact records in our CRM.
Find and qualify new opportunities using strategic discovery/research.
Through internal collaboration, estimate project costs, develop sound pricing strategies, and write proposals that communicate the value of our solution vs risk.
Reports to PLR Director of Sales.
Requirements:
Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience: 5 years minimum experience in data center market, battery sales, renewables, crane / rigging, and or strategic sales role
