*About the Position:* Are you a passionate, goal-driven professional with at least two years of experience working as a Virginia-licensed esthetician? If so, we invite you to consider joining our team! *Your Responsibilities as an Esthetics Teacher Assistant at SMIHA:* * Conduct practical demonstrations covering facials, waxing, basic makeup application, tinting, brow laminations, lash lifts, and machine facials (such as galvanic, high frequency, and ultrasonic treatments).
* Conduct practical application tests with care and attention.
* Supervise the public clinic's operations, ensuring standards are met and maintaining a clean environment.
* Grade assignments thoughtfully, providing helpful feedback.
* Manage end-of-day cleanup activities to keep the learning space organized.
* Instruct students on state board practical exams as needed.
* Fill in for other courses when required.
* Make copies of tests for assessment purposes.
* Offer assistance to fellow instructors when necessary.
