*POSITION SUMMARY:* An Assembly Technician is a skilled professional responsible for assembling and manufacturing various products and components.
Their role involves using a variety of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure the proper assembly and functionality of the final product.
*Essential Functions Statement(s)* * · Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues or defects in the assembly process, making necessary adjustments and repairs.
* · Measurement and Inspection: Perform precise measurements using various tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, rulers, tape measures, scales, and other specialized instruments.
* · Efficiency: Performs required work in a timely and efficient manner, striving to meet estimated build time while reducing scrap material.
* · Product Assembly: Assemble mechanical, electronic, or electromechanical components and products according to provided instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings.
* · Equipment Operation: Use a wide range of tools, machines, and equipment such as screwdrivers, wrenches, soldering irons, drills, and other power tools.
* · Documentation: Maintain accurate records of the assembly process on quality forms, including any changes made, issues encountered, and materials used.
* · Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
* · Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in the assembly area.
* · Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure a smooth flow of production and timely completion of projects * · Adaptability: Be willing to work on various products and projects, adapting to changing priorities and assignments.
* · Effectively meet A-620 and J-Standard soldering requirements (Training Provided) Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
* Technical or vocational training related to assembly work is beneficial but not mandatory.
* Previous experience in a similar role or relevant field is often preferred.
* Mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly processes.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions.
* Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
* Physical dexterity and ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.
