Rockydale Quarries Corporation, an established aggregate producer, is looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Foreman at our Appomattox Quarry in Gladstone, VA.
The Maintenance Foreman will plan, schedule, supervise, and assist with maintenance activities and administer a preventative maintenance program within the quarry with the primary focus on plant processing equipment.
This individual will also be responsible for directing and prioritizing the daily activities of 2nd shift crew, communicating with production and management staff, record keeping, and mentoring of crew members.
Mining Engineering or related degree preferred.
Experience of 3-5 years in a related field may be considered in place of degree.
Must have solid background in all aspects of safety and health rules, including environmental regulations.
Strong computer, organizational, communication, and leadership skills are required.
Must possess or be able to obtain Virginia Foreman Certification.
