Head Coach of Women's Volleyball
The University of Lynchburg, located in Central Virginia, is accepting applications for a Head Coach for our Women’s Volleyball Program.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Athletics and will be responsible for leadership of the Women's Volleyball programs.
Leadership may include head coaching responsibilities with indoor and head coaching or a supporting role with the beach program depending on staffing availability and vision.
Recruitment and retention of student-athletes, scheduling and team travel, budget management, and equipment purchases.
The candidate must have a commitment to upholding the academic and athletic integrity and mission of the University, compliance with NCAA, conference, and University regulations.
Other job related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
This is a full-time 12 month position.
Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience.

Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing leadership to the new Women’s Volleyball program, recruitment and retention of student-athletes, scheduling and team travel, budget management, and equipment purchases.

Starting Salary: $50,000-56,000

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution Successful collegiate volleyball experience is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills; demonstrated organizational and management ability.
