This position is for a full-time Faculty Support Coordinator position that supports the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS).
Essential Functions and Responsibiliti es
1.
Manage and organize work of, and workflow between, the Deans, Chairs, Faculty Support Coordinators, and Administrative Assistant staff.
2.
Evaluate online course staffing and load requirements for faculty.
3.
Execute faculty assignments to online course sections.
4.
Support Instructional Mentor (IM) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams by distributing information and addressing questions/concerns.
5.
Respond to inquiries from students, applicants, and faculty.
6.
Coordinate the hiring and onboarding process for all staff, faculty, Graduate Student Assistants, and student workers between the Deans, Chairs, IMs, Supervisors, Human Resources (HR), and LUO Hiring.
7.
Coordinate specialized training for all faculty, staff, and student workers.
8.
Manage Professional Development for all faculty.
9.
Manage department budget, coordinating with HR, Deans, Faculty, Staff, Information Technology (IT), and other university and outside vendors.
10.
Review new and current faculty files for educational and professional qualifications according to SACS requirements.
11.
Serve as a liaison between IT, Analytic Decision Support (ADS), and the Center for Academic Development (CAD) regarding departmental and university systems and reports.
12.
Oversee the operational aspects of Office Management.
13.
Coordinate department events.
14.
Manage department databases.
15.
Perform reporting and analysis functions in support of online programs.
16.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies
Candidates must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, but a graduate degree is highly preferred, with 5+ years of experience in a high-volume office setting.
All degrees must be from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.
S.
Department of Education.
Preference will be given to applicants with a Masters degree in a field within the College of Arts & Sciences.
