maintaining fixed asset ledger, cost accounting for plant preparation of special studies and plant support training and maintaining gross margin costs.

Job Responsibilities:
*Perform cost accounting and analysis for manufacturing plants, including cost control reports, trend analysis, inventory reports, yield reports, price audits and variance analysis.
Ensure accuracy of standard cost elements in cost system used for all product costing, inventory valuation, gross margins and operational results.
*Participate in fiscal period ending closings by compiling various cost accounting data on inventories, production, variances, and G/L account reconciliations and journal entries.
*Provide management with product/process cost estimates on new developments and sample production and/or "what-if' cost models.
*Plan, prepare, and implement periodic cost budget revisions.
*Support plant and corporate staff by resolving questions/issues related to product and gross margin costs.
*Work on process improvement projects to provide better and faster response times for cost data.
Collect data from facilities worldwide and assemble PowerPoint Presentations for company management.
Any other duties as assigned by management.

Mandatory Qualifications
AAS Degree in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 2-4 years cost accounting experience with manufacturing facilities,
Excellent PC skill level with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook).
Experience with an MRP system preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Four Year College Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
