Practice rooms are available in the School of Music for LU students, faculty and staff.
Practice Room Monitors will manage the use of the rooms, check users in and out, maintain cleanliness, and ensure that all room use complies with posted policies.
Practice Room Monitors will also assist the Facilities and House Manager with the hosting of student concerts and recitals and checking students in for concert attendance credit.
They will also help in meeting SOM needs for large university and SOM events, such as CFAW, Homecoming, Christmas on the Boulevard, and Night of Worship.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
1.
Check- in and check-out students from practice rooms.
2.
Monitor room use according to School of Music guidelines.
3.
Maintain a level of cleanliness at the desk and among the practice room halls.
4.
Greet guests in the building with a willingness to answer questions.
5.
Help host concerts and recitals and check students in and out for concert attendance credit.
6.
Assist administrative staff and faculty as assigned.
